VALUED VETERANS PROGRAM
MOOSE MEMBERS SERVING THEN AND NOW
The focus of this program is on the recognition and support
of Moose veterans with an emphasis on their ongoing service
to their fraternal units and communities through the Moose.
The program’s tag phrase captures this well:
“Moose Members Serving Then . . . and NOW!”
This approach simultaneously honors our veterans while also highlighting the Fraternity’s commitment to community service.
Valued Veterans Meetings are held every third Tuesday
of the each month following the Lodge General Meeting at 1945.
Officers include President Jose Becerra, Vice President Willie
Williams, Treasurer Alma Whitman, and Secretary Linda Cole.

Greetings fellow Veterans, Wishing everyone a Happy and Safe Holiday Season!
I want to thank all the Moose membership that come out and support our fundraising meals and Sunday Bar Bingo .
Our next meals will be November 10 and December 22, 2023. The menu will be posted at a later date.
After the November 10 dinner we will be presenting the Valued Veterans Certificates for those Moose members that applied for a Valued Veteran Card this year and the Valued Veteran of the year Certificate.
The Valued Veterans Group donated $250.00 dollars to the Veterans Coalition Group in Inverness, Fl. This is a food pantry for veterans in our community.
Come out and support Sunday Bar Bingo from 2 to 4 pm every Sunday.
I want to thank Jim and Kathi Mielnik, Diane Lally, Charlie Zittle, Willie Willams and Steve Watson for giving up their Sunday afternoons to make Bar Bingo a success.
Our meetings are held the third Tuesday of the month immediately after the Moose General Membership meeting. Hope to see you there!
If you are a veteran and have not applied for a Valued Veterans Card please contact Moose International at (630) 906-3658.
They will ask for your Moose ID number and will mail you the Valued Veterans Moose Membership card.

GAINESVILLE FISHER HOUSE RECEIVES LODGE DONATIONS
Dunnellon Moose Lodge 2308 continued their community service efforts of supporting the Gainesville Fisher House in July with a donation of 46 cases of water. The Gainesville Fisher House provides free temporary lodging for family members of a Veteran undergoing inpatient care at the Malcolm Randall VA Medica
VALUED VETERANS MAKES DONATION FOR CHRISTMAS
Dunnellon Moose Lodge's Valued Veterans recently donated $1,000 to the Citrus County Veterans Coalition. The funds will help purchase food and presents for local veterans' families.
VALUED VETERANS DONATE TO CRYSTAL RIVER WOMEN'S CLUB
Due to generous donations throughout the year, our Valued Veterans Committee was able to make a $500 donation to the Crystal River Women's Club so they can repair their building and continue empower women, strengthen our community, and support our local female veterans.
